EF-2 tornado

i read that official tornado records have been kept since 1950, and never was Brooklyn on them until just after 6:30 a.m. when one struck Bay Ridge. from the air it is obvious this was no ordinary storm. and to the ear, it was clear too that something was going on.what i thought at first sounded like the normal thunderstorms that u hear before it pours was nothing compared to what i had to wake up to. i woke up to the sound of a powerful tornado bearing down on our neighborhood.there was a point wherein the wind was so strong that i felt like it was going to rip the apartment off the ground. there was a news crew across the street from us . trees were uprooted and literally on the street and parked cars. everybody was outside. u think it was a block party but at 8 am.the weird thing was it was only bayridge and sunset park that was badly hit by this catastrophe(bklyn). i had to wait for the bus for 30 mins knowing that it wouldnt come, so i walked at least 25 blocks to go to work.so that tipped my day wayyy offff!!another surreal experience.
